Hug is a contemporary semi-abstract stone sculpture of two figures embracing, individually hand-carved in Portland stone by Herefordshire sculptor Jan Bruce.

"A timeless and heartfelt embrace, conveying love, comfort and human connection."

The flowing, simplified forms capture the closeness and tenderness of an embrace, while leaving space for the viewer to interpret the relationship between the two figures.

Each sculpture is individually hand-carved, so every piece has its own subtle variations and character.

At 10 inches tall, Hug has a lovely presence in a home interior and makes a meaningful gift for someone special — a lasting expression of love, comfort or connection.

See the 'Hug Stories' page for how the Hug has touched lives.
