Hug is a contemporary semi-abstract stone sculpture of two figures embracing, individually hand-carved in Portland stone by Herefordshire sculptor Jan Bruce.

"A timeless and heartfelt embrace, conveying love, comfort and human connection."

The flowing, simplified forms capture the closeness and tenderness of an embrace, while leaving space for the viewer to interpret the relationship between the two figures.

Each sculpture is individually hand-carved, so every piece has its own subtle variations and character.

At 12 inches tall, Hug has a strong presence while remaining well suited to a home interior or sheltered outdoor setting. It can also make a meaningful gift — a lasting expression of love, comfort or connection.

See the 'Hug Stories' page for how the 'Hug' has touched lives.
