The sculpture explores the intimacy of sharing thoughts and feelings with another person. The figures are closely intertwined, expressing a quiet moment of connection, understanding and mutual support.
Shared Thought was conceived during a difficult period in my life, when carving became part of an emotional healing process and ultimately helped to reignite my artistic career. The piece remains personally resonant for me — a reminder that we are not alone in our thoughts, and that sharing them with someone we trust can bring peace, love and strength.
