Each sculpture is individually carved by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Every piece in this first edition is individually numbered and supplied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
The form was originally conceived during a difficult period in my life. Carving Small Hug became a therapeutic process, and the sense of connection and comfort embodied in the sculpture remains central to the work today.
Whether given as a gesture of love, comfort or gratitude, or chosen as a piece to treasure for yourself, Small Hug is a quiet way to express what words often cannot.
