A pair of hand-carved Portland stone bookends depicting a parent seated reading to a small child.
As a parent myself, Storytime conjures precious memories of the magic of escaping into storybooks with my children. The sculptures celebrate those quiet moments of shared attention, imagination and connection between parent and child.
Storytime was conceived in response to a challenge to create functional sculptures in my signature style for my appearance on BBC One's Make It At Market. find out more here.
Each bookend is individually hand-carved, so the natural character of the Portland stone makes every pair unique. Each has a non-slip cork base and my trademark inset sterling silver signature.
