Together is a contemporary semi-abstract stone sculpture depicting two figures standing closely together in an embrace, hand-carved in Portland stone by Herefordshire sculptor Jan Bruce.

“This piece represents a couple united in an embrace, but both looking forward, as if facing the world together.”

The two figures turn towards the viewer, their heads gently tilted towards one another, with the head of the taller figure resting against the shorter figure. They appear not simply to be embracing, but to be sharing a moment and looking out at the world together.

The sculpture explores companionship, connection and the quiet strength that comes from being together. Its simplified, flowing forms create a sense of closeness and intimacy while leaving space for the viewer to imagine the moment between the figures.

This 24-inch version makes a substantial statement piece for a home, garden or outdoor space.

Shown on an optional weathered steel plinth, available to order separately. [See the plinth here.]
